What we’re looking forward to at #LDConf in Southport

If you’ve been following our work for very long, you’ll know that we absolutely love conference. Each conference we take a look through the agenda, and highlight the top trainings, fringes and debates – all with a 650 Strategy in mind.

If we’re to build our party up we need to make sure we’ve got skilled up and motivated members.

Below are our top picks for Lib Dem Conference in Southport this weekend. You can find the full agenda here.

Friday

Saturday

    “Important session for all local party officers and campaigners. The new Data Protection Regulations are coming in May and will change the way everyone in the Liberal Democrats handles and collects data. All local party officers and campaigners should attend at least one of the three sessions at this conference”
  • Young and Winning: develop skills to become a successful young candidate – Ramada Plaza, Hesketh 2 – 11:00-12:30

    “Develop the skills and tools needed as a young candidate to run a successful electoral campaign.”

  • Ask Me for Money: Conversations with a real live major donor – STCC, Waterfront Suite 2 – 11:00-12:00

  • Your Liberal Britain: Policy Brainstorm: Ashdown Prize for Radical Thought – Ramada plaza, executive Lounge – 19:41-21:00

    “Thinking about Parliamentary candidate approval? We want to encourage prospective candidates from diverse backgrounds. Come along and find out more. You’ll also be buddied up with someone to help you complete the form! There are two opportunities at conference to attend this session.”

Sunday
